About the Maker — Lucie Sotty
Lucie Sotty is a ceramicist based in Hyères, on the coast of southern France, where art, craft, and design come together in her work. She develops her own palette of glazes, hand-applied with a brush and a careful eye for color and composition, so each piece echoes the shapes and shades of the Mediterranean. Her objects are joyful and a little mischievous — made to bring a light, lively energy to everyday life.
