The Grey Pearl opened in the heart of Greenwich Village in 2022 with a simple but hard-to-find premise: a shop where every object has been chosen with the same eye and intention you'd bring to creating a home and life for yourself.
That's the art of the collected life. Objects that have a past, a story, a name on them. Things you inherit or choose like you would an heirloom. Not just beautiful objects — but objects that say something about who you are and how you want to live. Curated, personal, a little witty, a little serious.
We carry ceramics and glassware, candles, vintage finds, and curated gifts - each one selected because it deserves its place. Many bear the trace of a human hand - the slight variation, the considered detail, the mark that no machine leaves behind. The rotating assortment is a mix of local artisanal brands, pieces from around the globe, and objects exclusive to The Grey Pearl.
