This Oak House by Annie Meyers-Shyer
The full house tour her followers have been asking for, with the floor plans.
Meyers-Shyer documented the renovation of her family's historic Los Angeles house on @ThisOakHouse and turned a just-for-fun account into a design following. The book opens the doors properly: original plans and architect's sketches, mood boards and paint swatches, more than 150 photographs of the finished rooms, and the opinions she's known for, from kitchen islands and outlet placement to why you should never color-match paint. There's a resource list at the back (lighting, paint, linens, auction houses) and the family hot fudge sauce.
For anyone mid-renovation, and anyone who likes an old house done right.
